Is payet world class ?

Suppose first off we need to define world class, if messi and ronaldo is tier 1, lewandoski,
Aguero tier 2 would you put Dimitri in that 3rd tier?
Or higher? And does that constitute world class?

They did a small piece on Payet on the Fletch and Sav show this morning.
Posed the question to studio guests Rob Lee and Ray Wilkins:
"Who would you rather have, Payet or Christian Eriksen"?
Both opted for Payet no question although Rob Lee suggested he should be playing at a bigger / better club than West Ham.

In particular, the mesmerising Dimitri Payet.
How West Ham managed to sign him is beyond me. What an unbelievable talent he is. If he's even close to being on song, then he's worth the entrance fee alone. Touch, speed, vision, goals and awareness; he's a top player.

Someone made a ppint earlier in the thread that made me think ,the term World class is essentially just a bit of media fluff , yes there is some truth in having to shine on the world stage , but Florin Radiciou (sp) and Roger milla shined at the world cup ,but i think most would agree to them not being truly top draw.
Performing constantly in a top league against the biggest best teams is a good a yardstick as any , and Dimitri is defiantly doing that.
There ust be some politics as to why he'snot in the france team

It is a shame but to be fair it came from a side comment on a thread about something else, which he latched onto then went on to emphatically declare he did not remember and say that people were "making up."
